I am wanting to do some sprouting and grow my own Wheatgrass, so I have been doing some research and found these 2 Great videos by Karen Knowler.

“Sprouting absolutely has to be one of the very most important raw food “tools” you need to have in your toolbox if you want to be as lithe, gorgeous and energy-filled as you can possibly be (my already abundant energy probably doubles when I bring sprouts into my daily diet). There’s a LOT to be said for these apparently “insignificant” little creatures, and to ignore or exclude them from your diet is, in my humble opinion, one of the biggest mistakes you can possibly make.

So in my bid to have you sprouting successfully all over your kitchen, here follows my fool-proof guide to sprouting using my own personal favourite method, the jar.

See her Post here on: “Sprouting: The Why, What and How To Do It Successfully!“.

I am Excited to get started growing my own Sprouts and Wheatgrass, and Eating them and Juicing and Drinking them. I am All for More Energy, How about you =)

I find the more Energy I have the Happier I am =)

They would be swell to put in our Raw Food Smoothies too !!!******

Haven’t tried wheatgrass yet, but I do make a raw granola from sprouted buckwheat. The recipe is from “Rejuvenate Your Life” by Serene Allison (available from the Above Rubies website). This granola has enabled my husband to get off his diabetes meds. Eating raw sprouted grains instead of cooked starches is an excellent way for diabetics to control their blood sugar levels.

Sprouting is really easy; I use them in salads, cereals, and stir-fries. Thanks for your article!
