We have already written about the huge Tesla Roadster. Only a small handful of the messages on the electric Super car: he attracts the attention of Porsche, is worthy of tuning Bra bus, is ready for Europe, has passed the official crash, is also already been involuntarily crashed, has been a real showroom and we saw more of a short video demonstration. Most people are lucky to experience one life-affirming moment while they’re on this earth; I experienced mine last week. Brabus-Tuned Tesla Roadster Sounds Like a Mustang, a Racecar, or a Ray Gun?

The world’s first all electric super car, the Tesla Roadster, is set to get an update from German super tuners Bra bus; a package that includes appearance tweaks to the interior and exterior, as well as a fascinating sound package for the near-silent EV.New wheels and tires, a carbon-fiber front lip spoiler, and a “futuristic” lighting package are all very nice for the Tesla, but we’re most interested in the “space sound generator” that will come equipped on each Bra bus Roadster.

Production Honda Insight Hybrid to Debut at NAIAS in January

Honda has announced plans to show off the production version of its new 2009 Insight at the North American International Auto Show in January—releasing a single image of the new car in the process. Honda’s second stab at the Insight eschews the less-than-practical two-seat coupe configuration in favor of a much more livable four-door sedan. The Insight proposes to be the most affordable hybrid available anywhere when it goes on sale next spring (pricing hasn’t been firmed up yet though) and Honda has high hopes of selling around 200,000 of them annually.

Military To Go Electric With 4000 New Electric Vehicles

Well, at least on-base they will. The Army announced today that it will be fielding 4,000 electric vehicles over the next three years with a projected goal of 10,000 in total between the Army, Navy, and Air Force. The low-speed electric vehicles will be used as on-base commuters at military bases around the world, starting with Fort Belvoir in Virginia on December 15 th.

The Sleek Shape-Shifting Scarab Vehicle

Concept vehicles serve the useful purpose of showing us new ideas and charting a path towards the future of transportation. Similar to MIT’s Stackable Car concept, the streamlined Scarab is an ultra-compact electric concept vehicle that is able to transform from a flat shape for speed driving to an inclined state for space-conscious urban travel. Designed by David Miguel Moreira Gonçalves, the Scarab shows how a new type of vehicle could change the systems of transportation that we currently use.
